SANE supports people who are struggling through providing mental health services. SANE used to provide more support through paying for other professional providers, assisting with grocery shopping and even helping people with rent payments and housing; as funding became more scarce unfortunately it became not possible to continue.

Shifra Goode

Hello! My name is Shifra Goode, and I am a mother and grandmother with a lifelong passion for helping others heal and grow.
With a Master’s degree in Reading from Loyola University of Chicago and experience in Special Education, I bring a deep understanding of learning and personal development to my work. I have Level 2 certification in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and have completed Level 1 training in Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO), an IFS-based approach to couples therapy. Additionally, I am certified in Somatic Regulation Training (SRT), a body-centered healing modality, as well as Trauma Recovery Coaching through the International Association of Trauma Recovery Coaches (IAOTRC).
My mission is to support clients in recognizing and understanding the internal parts of themselves that may be blocking their path to overcoming life’s challenges. Everyone encounters difficulties, but by cultivating Self-leadership and a conscious awareness of the polarized or stuck parts within, you can transform your relationship to those aspects and move forward with greater ease and clarity. I see myself as a facilitator who helps you discover and connect with your inner system, empowering you—with Hashem’s guidance—to take charge of your healing journey and create meaningful progress in your life.
