SANE for ISRAEL is a volunteer effort, headed by counselor Miriam Yerushalmi and staffed by mental/emotional health professionals of a broad range of modalities, formed in response to the current situation. Therapists, counselors, social workers, coaches, and also simply good, empathetic listeners to speak give extra support, have joined SANE for ISRAEL’s registry of mental health volunteers. These caring professionals are offering their services to all Israelis—soldiers and civilians—and their loved ones in this difficult time, to help us deal with the pain of our circumstances.
Sessions are free of charge and can be tailored as necessary: in person, via Zoom, on the phone; multiple short meetings or weekly longer ones—whatever works for the individual.

All counselors made available through this website are independent contractors and clients should make their own arrangements directly with the counselors. SANE has established this website as a public, non-profit to assist connecting client to counselor and has no involvement or responsibility for the client-counselor relationship.

All professional standards, including confidentiality, will be maintained.
