SANE was founded by Rebbetzin Miriam Yerushalmi who has made it her life’s mission to help those in need.
For the past 30+ years, Miriam Yerushalmi has provided essential care and support free of charge to those facing emotional challenges and crisis. Whether it is sponsoring critical psychotherapy, holistic healing, or assisting with basic necessities such as food, clothing, rent and yeshiva tuition, Miriam Yerushalmi continues to be a source of unlimited Chessed to all she meets.
S.A.N.E. (Save A Neshama Endowment) is an entirely volunteer operated organization.
Its goal is to help families and individuals overcome obstacles and lead a life that is healthy in mind, body and soul. SANE provides support through Miriam Yerushalmi's classes, workshops, books, and the list of therapists who offer traditional or alternative therapies combined with chassidic philosophy and spiritual guidance.
There are specific Therapists who have trained under Miriam to become Cognitive Behavioural Torah Therapists.
Cognitive Behavioural Torah Therapy is Miriam Yerushalmi's unique blend of mental / physical / spiritual healing based on the Tanya. All of Miriam's work is entwined with CBTT, all of her classes and books take the lens of CBTT.
